Robert Busbee
Managing Partner
Robert Busbee graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. After attending GSU, he went on to Georgia State University’s College of Law. While in law school, he worked for the Atlanta, corporate firm, McCalla Raymer, LLC. During his final year of law school, Robert was the only law student offered a paid position by the firm during the school year. He graduated from law school in 2012.
A month after graduation, he took and passed the Georgia Bar Exam and was admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia in November, 2012.
After law school, he decided to come home to Southeast Georgia and took a job stocking shelves in a grocery store to save up money to start his own practice. In 2014, he was able to officially launch Busbee Law Group, LLC. The practice started in his home, but by January, 2015, he was able to rent his first official office space above a coffee shop. By 2016, the firm moved to a bigger office upstairs in the Market District where the business thrived there for several years. In 2019, the firm moved once again to a permanent location in downtown Statesboro where it is today.
